My family loves Christmas in Hershey–in fact it is our favorite time to visit. We love to bundle up and visit the park, stop in and see Santa and Rudolph of course and then head over to Sweet Lights. Before we leave the park we always grab some kettle corn and eat it in the car while we look at the lights and sing along to the carols on the radio. We always then end our night in front of the fireplace at the Hershey Lodge eating chocolate chip cookies and drinking hot chocolate from the Cocoa Beanery. It truly is our favorite holiday tradition, so check out my Top 10 Reasons to Visit Hershey at Christmastime and then make sure to book your own visit to the Sweetest Place on Earth!
Top 10 Reasons to Visit Hershey at Christmastime
The holiday feeling–There is no better feeling then walking up to the gates of Hersheypark and seeing them all decked out for the holidays. No matter the temperature outside I always get a farm fuzzy feeling as I walk through those gates knowing that my whole family is going to have a great time.
Sparking lights everywhere you turn–With four million sparkling lights illuminating the park everywhere you turn within the park is magical–my family especially likes to stand on the (NAME OF BRIDGE) to watch the NOEL Light show timed perfectly to holiday music. Enjoy 4 different shows beginning nightly at 5 PM with show times every half hour.
Thrilling rides--Even though it is the Christmas season, lots of awesome rides are still open, in fact, more than 50 of your favorite rides, including 6 coasters so there is fun for the whole family! Plus, for the first time ever during Hersheypark® Christmas Candylane®, enjoy Hershey Triple Tower™ and SidewinderSM.
Santa and the Reindeer–Where else can you see Santa AND his reindeer getting ready for their big night? Visit Santa then stop by the reindeer stables to get an up-close look at your favorite reindeer, including Rudolph!
Awesome holiday shows–The all new show, A Music Box Christmas, will be sure to put you in the holiday spirit–and don’t forget to hit the ice at Rudolph’s Skating Pond!
