The JCC will be holding its annual carnival for the Jewish holiday of Purim on Sunday March 8th from 1pm-4pm. The entire community is invited to come celebrate this festive Jewish holiday with the JCC. It is for all ages and is FREE!
There will be carnival games, prizes, inflatables, ice cream sundaes, hamentaschen (special cookies for the holiday) and more! Everyone is invited to come in costume! There will be a costume contest!

The most rollicking holiday on the Jewish calendar, Purim marks the day Queen Esther of Persia outwitted her husband’s evil henchman, Haman, who planned to kill all the Jews in the kingdom. Purim usually falls sometime in March, on the 14th day of the Hebrew month of Adar. Purim is the most festive of Jewish holidays, a time of prizes, noisemakers, costumes, treats and charitable acts.. The Festival of Purim commemorates a major victory over oppression.
