So I was recently given the chance to check out the Samsung Galaxy Note II on the Verizon network and wow, was I impressed!!
Not sure if you want a tablet or a phone? Well with the Samsung Galaxy Note II you don’t have to chose! With an oversized screen it is great for watching videos, reading text on webpages, and taking notes-in fact it has a really cool stylus pen so you can “write” directly on the screen. This allows you to write down directions, phone numbers, and other information while on a call and then store that information on your contacts. I loved the calendar option as well. It is HUGE so no squinting to try and see what you have scheduled each day.
One cool feature of this phone is the split screen option, which allows you to actually multi task between two screens. This is a great feature, especially when watching video’s, doing research or just browsing the internet.
As with any smartphone, there is a camera and microphone installed so you are always ready to record those life moments as they happen, but with the pen you can edit and those photos to your liking. I was really impressed with not only the ease of use for the camera and the editing but the quality of photos was great as well, and as a mom of 5 I take LOTS of photos each day!
Now when you first look at the large size you can’t help but think that it would be cumbersome to make a call but that cannot be further from the truth. The design is slim, lightweight and you easily adjust to the increased size–and hey, since it is larger it is easier to find in your purse so that is always a plus!
The Samsung Galaxy Note II is a great option for anyone who is looking for ease of use for both work and life, with the easy to use design and the great photo capabilities. I loved the fact that it combined both a phone and tablet functionalities and loved being able to take notes right on the screen.
All in all this is a great phone and I encourage you to check it out when looking for your new phone.

I just got a Note. It is taking some getting used to but I like it. Just wish I could group text.
