A few years ago I took an informal cooking class around Thanksgiving and this Delicious Pumpkin Dip recipe was something that we made that night. To be honest, I really didn’t think I would like this dip as I hate pumpkin pie but I loved this dip. It is smooth and creamy and the flavors just go together perfectly.
It goes great gingersnap cookies or graham crackers but it also goes great with firm fruits like apples, pears and grapes–in fact my personal preference is to put it on fruit.
This delicious Pumpkin Dip is so to be a favorite at your parties this fall!
- 8oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1¼ cups canned pumpkin
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- ½ tsp ginger
- ¼ tsp cloves (optional)
- In a large mixing bowl blend together cream cheese and powered sugar until combined. Mix at medium speed until smooth and fluffy (about 1 minute). Add in pumpkin, sour cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves and mix until well blended and fluffy(about 2 minutes). Store in refrigerator in an airtight container.
This sounds like a really good recipe. Pinned so I will have it. Hope to have time to try it out soon.
It is very yummy, let me know what you think!

I’ve never tried pumpkin dip before but I am a big fan of ginger snaps so I might have to give this recipe a try!
Yes, try it! It goes great with gingersnaps and the kids will love it with apple or pear slices.

This looks delicious. I’m going to offer it at our family birthday party in October. What do you usually serve with it? Crackers?
When I make it for my kids I serve it with apples and pears but for a party I serve gingersnap cookies and I have also served it with vanilla wafers….so yummy! Thanks Barb!
