My kids love smoothies and we love to play around with different flavor combinations. We love strawberries so we often incorporate them into our smoothies but we recently wanted something different so we decided to use cherries and make this Pineapple Cherry Smoothie. How delicious does this look? So rich, creamy and yummy!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup cherries, deseeded
1/2 cup kale, to taste
1 cup almond milk
1/2 cup yogurt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a high powered smoothie blender and puree. Add a small amount of additional milk to help thin out the smoothie, as desired.
Note: I like to puree without the kale and then add in small additions to ensure that it doesn’t change the color when serving to kids. You can alternatively use a green smoothie powder to add the greens without the color.
