I like to go and buy flats of strawberries and then freeze them to use over the winter in recipes and smoothies. Not sure how to freeze them? Click here to learn how to freeze strawberries. It’s a great way to support a local business and to eat farm fresh strawberries all year round. Buy fresh, buy local!

How are they? Is it worth the drive from Dallas, PA as Dymond’s is closed for strawberry picking.

I came in from Pike Co. last year and am watching weather, anticipating return. These are “real” strawberries, nothing like the tasteless monstrosities from the grocery store! The taste took me back to childhood, when u-pick was a great family outing. 🙂

Love and enjoy every year for the last 15 picking strawberries at Pallmans farm. Wonderful people and my boys still love the ride on the tractor as so do I. See you soon…

Great idea to freeze the strawberries for later use! Strawberry smoothies are a personal favorite of mine.
