My kids love Mac and Cheese so I saw how easy these Mac and Cheese Bites are to make I just knew I needed to add them to our meal plan! These Mac and Cheese Bites are crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside–perfection! They are great for easy dinners, snacking and parties too, since they can be eaten with a fork or as finger foods. Ingredients
- 16 oz. Box Elbow Noodles
- 16 oz. pkg. Velveeta Cheese
- 8 oz. pkg. Sharp Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 8 oz. pkg. Mild Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 2 cups Milk
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 4 Tbsp. butter
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cook elbow macaroni according to package directions and drain.
3. In a pot, add the rest of ingredients and stir together.
4. Over medium heat, stir the cheese mixture until combined and melted through.
5. Pour the cheese mixture over the elbow noodles and stir together.
6. Using a mini muffin tin, spoon a heaping tablespoon of the macaroni into each tin.
7. Bake in oven for about 30 minutes until heated through and a slight crust forms on the top of the macaroni cups.
8. Cool for about 10 minutes until macaroni cools enough so they pop out of the tin.
9. This recipe makes approximately 24-30 macaroni bites.
10. Serve just how they are or with your favorite garnish.
