JCC Post-Camp – A never ending camp experience! August 17, August 20-24, 27-31
Summer camp is over? No problem. Your child’s summer experience can continue at the JCC right up until school starts. JCC Post-Camp is a full day program that includes swimming, sports, arts & crafts, specialty programs & daily field trips that include Sno-Cove, Abington Park, McDade Park, movies. Circus Yoga, Magic show & make your own mini-golf course are just some of the specialty programs that will happen during Post-Camp. Cost is $40 per day, $150 per week or $290 for both weeks. Discounted rates for JCC family members! Sibling discounts available too! Mention this blog posting and the first day (August 17th) is free!

Indoor Family Disc Golf League Free for JCC family members!
This fall, the JCC will introduce you to a great new sport…Disc Golf! It’s a flying disc game in which individual players aim & throw a flying disc at various targets. We follow the rules as provided by the Professional Disc Golf Association. The object of the game is to traverse a course from beginning to end in the fewest numbers of throws of the disc. We provide all necessary equipment. All you need is a throwing arm!
JCC announces its September Family Movie Series! On the big screen in the JCC Koppelman Auditorium. Free to JCC family members! ($10.00 per family for non-members). We’ll provide the popcorn! All showtimes @ 5:30pm

The JCC Kidz Club is a new after school program for children in grades K-5. Swimming, sports, games, activities & homework time are part of the schedule which runs from 2:30pm-5:30pm. Participants must be JCC members (elementary memberships are only $125) and fee is $18.50 per day (pick-up by 4:30pm) & $20.50 per day (pick-up by 5:30pm) Transportation is available from Whittier & Prescott elementary schools in Scranton. Limited space is available!
UTA Karate @ the JCC!
Join Master Bob Straub and Lorrie Raemsch as they teach the basics and advanced levels of TaeKwanDo. Childrens’ classes are Monday, Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 6pm-7pm, $47. Discounts available for JCC family members.
