I love when fruit is in season and I can stock up on it when it is fresh and at it’s peak of flavor. Stocking up and freezing fresh blueberries from the local blueberry patch is a great way to feed your family healthy food, save money, and support your local farmer.
I buy local blueberries and then freeze them so that I can use them all winter long in fresh bakery items like blueberry muffins and breads and now that I know how to make blueberry jam I’m going to start making this easy Instant Pot Blueberry Jam! Who know that making homemade blueberry jam could be so easy!

How to make Blueberry Jam
Ingredients
1 qt blueberries
1 ½ cups honey
Directions
- Place the honey in the pot of your instant pot and turn on sauté.
- Heat until honey is melted, it should take 1-2 minutes
- Add in washed blueberries and stir to coat.
- Place the lid on the instant pot, and place on manual high pressure for 2 minutes
- After the time is up, let the pot naturally release.
- When you can open the lid. Press the “stop” button, and then turn your pot on sauté mode once more and let the water boil off. This took about 10 minutes for fresh berries.
- After your jam is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon, remove from the pot and place in a jar. Let cool completely and store in the refrigerator and enjoy!
