Toilet paper rolls provide an endless source of entertainment for my kids. They love to use them to create all sorts of things, so I thought it might be fun to decorate some for Halloween. These crafts are pretty easy to do, and you can do these even if you have preschoolers.
For supplies, all you need are some wiggly eyes, construction paper, pom poms, scissors, toilet paper rolls, and glue sticks. Most of it you can find at your local craft store. My kids and I made monsters, spiders, and Frankenstein monsters. Here is what we did for each one:
Trace your child’s hands and cut them out. When you cut, make sure you cut out the fingers but don’t cut out the thumbs. Attach the hands together. Cut your toilet paper roll in half and color it black. Attach the wiggly eyes and then glue the construction paper hands to the toilet paper roll. Let dry.
Use regular sized toilet paper rolls or cut them in half. Color them or wrap them in brightly colored construction paper. Add Wiggly eyes, pom poms, and whatever else your child would like to use to decorate them.
I hope you have fun creating some Halloween fun with your little ones. What other creepy creations can you come up with?
