Did you all have a great weekend? I did! On Saturday I spoke at a local conference geared towards bloggers and I got to co-speak with my friend Christina from It’s A Keeper so that was really fun. Later that night my whole family went to our local Fall Fest, where I ate way too many Apple Cider Donuts and drank way to many glasses of Apple Cider but it was a fun night!
On Sunday I made marinara sauce with meatballs, homemade chicken tenders and garlic bread and I made sure to make extras for leftovers and the freezer so that is making an appearance on my meal plan this week for sure.
Here is my Family Meal Plan for this week:
Monday: We will be eating the leftover pasta with marinara sauce and meatballs. All the chicken nuggets were snatched up so there were no leftovers other than what I threw in the freezer.
Tuesday: Taco Tuesday people! As I have said before we love Taco’s and since Tuesdays are busy for us and everyone loves them it is a great dinner. I can prepare everything earlier in the day and then reheat and assemble as needed throughout the night as everyone arrives home from swim practice.
Wednesday: I’m going to pull out my Crock Pot and make a roast with potatoes and carrots. I love using my crock pot, it makes getting dinner on the table so easy and stress free and it makes my house smell amazing!
Thursday: Chicken Marsala! This is one of my favorite meals, I absolutely love it! I will make a triple batch and freeze some of it so that I don’t have to make it from scratch next time I am in the mood for it. Click here for the Chicken Marsala recipe that I use.
Friday: Pizza Night! I love the break from cooking and since we have a staggered dinner time for the kids due to swim practice it works out great. We can all eat when we get home and then once everyone is home and has eaten we can settle down and watch our favorite family shows…anyone else watching Agents of Shield??
Saturday: I’ll be home all day so I plan on making a big batch of Homemade Potato soup…yum! I love soup and it is so yummy and filling this time of year.
What do you plan on making this week? Inspire me!
Hope you have a great week and that you get some yummy meals on the table to enjoy with your family!
I really need to do a meal plan for my family. For years I’ve been flying by the seat of my pants never knowing what to make in any given day. I think this will eliminate stress and save money.
