Easy to Make Yogurt Parfait with Quaker Granola!

Sometimes it feels like I never leave the kitchen.  Three of my kids are competitive swimmers, add in the fact that my son is 11 and constantly hungry and you get the drift…they are ALWAYS looking for a snack!

At least one of my kids has swim practice every M-F and it is during dinnertime so most nights we are eating late dinners. I don’t like to fill them up before practice with a heavy meal, but I need to make sure they have a substantial snack before they hit the pool or otherwise they don’t have the energy to give it their all.

Easy to Make Yogurt Parfait

That’s why I always have the makings for a yogurt parfait station in the house.  I have tubs of Greek yogurt, fresh fruit and  Quaker® Simply Granola...my kids LOVE the Quaker® Granola with oats, honey, raisins and almonds because it gives the parfaits a little sweetness and a LOT of crunch!

Quaker Cereals at Walmart #QuakerUp #LoveMyCereal

I recently headed to Walmart to stock up on some easy snacks and treats for the kids and I checked out the entire Quaker® selection including the Quaker® Real Medleys, Quaker® Oatmeal Squares and Quaker® Life cereal.  I grabbed the Quaker® Simply Granola for the parfaits and the Quaker® Life cereal also made it into my cart– I can’t resist that crunch!

Quaker Simply Granola

Easy to Make Yogurt Parfait with Quaker Granola–these are so easy to make your kids can do them themselves!

Make Your Own Parfait

To make the parfaits all you need to do is put out the granola, the yogurt and any fresh fruit you have on hand. My kids love to use strawberries and blueberries, as well as add in bananas sometimes.

To assemble, put some yogurt in the bottom of a small container.  I like to use small Mason Jars so that if they don’t eat all of their parfaits in one sitting I can just put a lid on it and stick it in the fridge for later.  After you add some yogurt start adding layers of granola and fruit and then add more yogurt, more granola, more fruit…well you get the idea!

Grab a spoon and enjoy!

What a great idea! I sometimes make these in the summer but they would be such a good way to get our fruits and dairy in during the winter too.

I am SO with you on Greek yogurt and making parfaits with it. It is so yummy with granola and fruit – one of my favorite breakfasts growing up.

PS Did you notice that your social links to Quaker have lines drawn through 2 of them?

I love yogurt parfaits! One of my favorite breakfasts. We haven’t had it in awhile and I do have some Simply Granola in the pantry. Guess it’s going on the meal plan.
