During the busy holiday season our schedules get busier as our to-do lists get longer. As busy moms, we tend to forget to take care of ourselves while we are trying to get everything done for the holidays. Easy Tips for Staying Healthy During the Holidays
First, make sure that you are drinking enough water. More than 60% of our bodies are water and by the time you feel thirsty you are already on your way to dehydration? I always keep a bottle of DASANI® water on hand to sip throughout my busy day.

Second, with a little planning ahead you can still eat healthy while on the go-even while out running holiday errands. I love to stop by my local GIANT Food Store and grab their Deli Meal Combo of a prepared salad, DASANI water and a 2 oz bag of Deep River chips for some crunchy snacking.
It is an easy way to keep my healthy eating goals in check and give me healthy eating options that don’t involve the drive through.
Third, keep up with your exercise routine even if you are in a time crunch. Exercising has many benefits including relieving stress and boosting energy levels as well as helping you stay in shape. I love to do short 10-minute workouts whenever and wherever I am–even if I’m standing in the kitchen making dinner or folding laundry. I figure, 10 a minute is at least working towards a healthier lifestyle and is better than nothing.

Finally, remember to wash your hands often to prevent the spread of germs. This time of year many people are battling colds and flu’s and by washing your hands often you can hopefully cut down on the spread of germs and keep you and your family from getting sick.
The Ahold GIANT Food Store Deli Meal Deal is located near the Deli Counter and has everything you need for a quick grab and go meal that is perfect for your healthy eating goals. I can grab a quick meal and eat it in the parking lot while reviewing my to-do list.
