I spent a few Easters as a teen on a restricted diet. I could only have dairy fats (cheese, butter, cream), so no chocolate. I could only have whole wheat, so no refined flour for treats. And I had to limit my intake of sugar so much that I even had to be careful eating fruit!
My mom still put together beautiful Easter baskets for me that included a few gourmet sugar-free candies, but were mostly non-food items. This was more than 10 years ago, so the only thing that sticks out to me now is the beautiful decorative Van Gogh tea pot she picked out for me.

I bought a Snoopy clock for my 11 year old son who loves all things Snoopy. I’m hoping to find a few more Snoopy items for his basket.
Great list! We don’t put candy in my daughter’s Easter basket so this gives me a new array of ideas for this year!
