A great looking wreath for the front door of your home brightens any door and makes a warm welcome for your visitors. A great wreath doesn’t have to cost a fortune however, and with a little practice you can make one of your own for you and your friends and family.
Making a Burlap Rag Wreath is even easier because you don’t need to be exact in your measurements and sizes so it is very forgiving and you can customize them to any holiday or decor that you wish. The whole point is to have fun!
Burlap Rag Wreath Instructions
Supplies Needed:
½ of a yard of each:
Red fabric
White fabric
Blue fabric
5 patterned fabrics in the holiday motif of your choice
Scissors
Instructions:
- Cut the fabrics into strips. I cut mine into about 1 inch wide and about 8 inches long. The strips don’t have to be straight, all the same size or perfect. No one will notice! I promise! The burlap I cut a little wider, about 1 ½ inches wide.
- Tie the fabrics onto the wreath frame. This is a great project to do while watching a movie! Continue to tie the fabrics on until the wreath is covered.
Hang your Burlap Rag Wreath on a Wreath Hanger and enjoy!
