Blueberries are in season right now so I have been making lots of this Banana Blueberry Bread recipe! My kids love it and it never lasts long! Plus you can use fresh or frozen blueberries so you can use freeze blueberries now and then use them in this recipe all year long. Don’t know how to freeze blueberries? Here you go! - 4 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1tbsp baking powder
- 4 eggs
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup sugar
- 4 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 bananas
- 4 cups blueberries
- Mix flour, salt and baking powder with a fork and put aside.
- In your Kitchenaid mixer place eggs, brown sugar, oil and vanilla and mix well. Add in flour mixture and continue mixing until smooth.
- Mix in blueberries gently and place into two greased bread pans.
- Cook at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
- Allow to cool and enjoy!
Blueberry Banana sounds really good together, I am definitely going to make it.

I love this combination! I’ve actually never made my own bread before.
Never thought of putting blueberries in with my banana bread! Walnuts have gone in but this may be something to try!

I’m assuming that the mashed bananas get mixed in as the last step of the wet ingredients and BEFORE the folding in of the blueberries, is that correct?
